This week is the tail end of earnings season with the overriding theme being big US retailers reporting their quarterly results, including Walmart and Home Depot on Tuesday and Target and Lowe's on Wednesday. Other notable reports come from Chinese internet giant Tencent and EV maker Li Auto.
On the economic front this week, there's inflation data out of the UK on Wednesday as well as the release of the Federal Reserve's meeting minutes which could offer more insight into their decisions and future moves on interest rates.
