We’re heading into the post-earnings season lull now, with only a few major companies scheduled to report results this week. Although crypto fans will probably be looking to the Consensus by CoinDesk conference, taking place from Monday to Thursday, for potentially market moving headlines from the likes of Ark Investment Management’s Cathie Wood and hedge fund manager Ray Dalio. Here are the other events we’ll be keeping an eye on this week.

Tuesday German Ifo business confidence report published. US releases home sales and consumer confidence data. Earnings from Intuit.

Wednesday Earnings from Xiaomi, Nvidia and Snowflake

Thursday US publishes durable goods orders data. Earnings from Salesforce, Costco, Best Buy and GAP.

Friday Eurozone releases economic sentiment data. US releases personal income and spending data, with the core personal consumption expenditures (PCE) index particularly in focus as it’s the Federal Reserve’s preferred inflation measure.

Note that stock markets will be closed for public holidays in the US and UK on Monday May 31st.
