Hello! It’ll be a shorter working week for many as Friday marks the beginning of Easter. Here are the calendar events the Finimize analyst team will be keeping an eye on:
Tuesday US consumer confidence and home prices data released. Earnings from Foxconn, Lululemon, Chewy, Carnival, and Bank of China.
Wednesday Japan releases Tankan Large Manufacturers Index. Earnings from H&M, Walgreens Boots Alliance, and giant Chinese spirits producer Kweichow Moutai – a bellwether for China’s luxury sector.
Thursday Manufacturing PMI data released for countries around the world. Earnings from UK retailer Next.
Friday Good Friday holiday marked in many parts of the world. Stock markets in the US and Europe are closed. The big US jobs report known as non-farm payrolls will be released anyway. Don’t ask us why.
(Note for Monday April 5th: US markets will be open on Easter Monday – although European markets will remain closed).
