It’s going to be another week dominated by earnings releases from some of the biggest companies in the world, from Alibaba to Adidas. Here are some of the key events we’ll be monitoring:
Tuesday Reserve Bank of Australia interest rate decision. US publishes factory orders data. Earnings from Alibaba, Eli Lilly, BP, Activision Blizzard, Fiat Chrysler, BMW, Mitsubishi, and DuPont.
Wednesday Earnings from Toyota, Sony, CVS Health, Booking Holdings, General Motors, Uber, Petrobras, Roku, Honda, Kraft Heinz, and Etsy.
Thursday Bank of England interest rate decision. European Central Bank releases its economic bulletin for the eurozone. Barbecue maker Weber due to start trading following its initial public offering. Earnings from Novo Nordisk, Moderna, Siemens, Square, MercadoLibre, Adidas, Nintendo, Glencore, and Monster Beverage.
Friday US releases jobs data for July. Reserve Bank of India interest rate decision. Earnings from Allianz, London Stock Exchange, ING, AP Moeller-Maersk, and Japan’s NTT.
